Edwards TAV6 Air Admittance Vent Valve for EXT or nEXT Turbo Pumps, 24V DC 1/8 BSP Thread, 1.8 Watts Max.

The Edwards TAV6 vent-valve is 24 V DC solenoid operated valve which can be use to vent your Edwards Turbo EXT or nEXT vacuum system with atmospheric air or dry nitrogen when you switch off the Turbo pump. The valves are supplied with a sintered bronze inlet-filter, a riffled hose connector, 3m of electrical cable and a DN10NW adapter. The valve can be driven by the Podule attached to the Edwards EXT 75DX Turbo Pump, a TIC controller, EXC controller, the drive electronics connector on the side of nEXT pumps, or any suitable 24VDC power supply. You can either use your TAV6 vent-valve to replace the manual vent-valve supplied with the EXT 75 DX pump or nEXT series pumps, or adapt it to fit any other suitable port on the vacuum system upstream of the turbomolecular pump. This is the TAV6 vent valve only, EXT and nEXT turbo pumps sold separately. For application use and install instructions see Accessory Manual PDF below.

The TAV6 Vent-Valve Can be Used:

In place of the manual vent valve on the EXT 75DX pump or nEXT series turbo pumps

Solenoid valve connected to a convenient flange on your vacuum system

DIFFERENT OPTIONS

0	Vent valve opens fully below 50% full rotational speed for either Stop command or Fail. (This is the factory default setting.)
1	Controlled venting from to 50% full rotational speed; vent valve opens fully below 50% for either Stop command or Fail.
2	Vent valve fully opens immediately Stop command is received; vent valve opens fully below 50% full rotational speed if Fail.
3	Vent valve fully opens immediately Stop command is received; controlled venting from to 50% full rotational speed if Fail then vent valve opens fully below 50%.
4	Vent valve fully opens immediately if Fail; vent valve opens fully below 50% full rotational speed if Stop.
5	Vent valve fully opens immediately if Fail; controlled venting from to 50% full rotational speed if Stop command received then vent valve opens fully below 50%.
6.7	Vent valve fully opens immediately for either Stop command or Fail.
